Description:
At 323 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northeast of
Westplains, or 24 miles northwest of Sterling, moving east at 15 mph.
Another severe thunderstorm was located north of North Sterling
Reservoir.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Peetz and Westplains.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
