Description:
At 941 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Evergreen, or
21 miles west of Denver, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Southwestern Lakewood, southwestern Golden, Evergreen, Morrison,
Indian Hills, Tiny Town, Idledale, Red Rocks Park, Kittredge, Aspen
Park, Bergen Park, Genesee, Wah Keeney Park and Ken Caryl.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
