Central Washington County in northeastern Colorado... * Until 1015 PM MDT. * At 936 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 4 miles southeast of Burdett to 6 miles north of Last Chance, or along a line from 18 miles northeast of Akron to 31 miles southwest of Akron, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Akron, Otis, Elba, Platner, Gary, Woodrow and Hyde.
