Description:
At 429 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Boncarbo, or 9
miles northwest of Trinidad, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Trinidad, Cokedale, Hoehne, Gulnare, and Boncarbo.
Instruction:
This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
