Description:
At 414 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Fort Morgan,
moving southeast at 15 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR FORT MORGAN.
HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect
shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and
vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Morgan, Brush, Log Lane Village and Fort Morgan Airport.
Instruction:
Seek shelter now inside an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure. This storm is capable of producing destructive
hail and damaging winds.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT Wednesday for a
portion of northeast Colorado.
