* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Colorado, including the following areas; all of Logan, Washington, Morgan, and Lincoln Counties, and the eastern portions of Elbert, Adams, Arapahoe, and Weld Counties. * WHEN...From 3 pm this afternoon until 10 pm this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Strong thunderstorms with torrential rainfall will be possible in the Watch area late this afternoon and evening. Rainfall rates greater than 2 inches in just 30-45 minutes can be expected from the stronger storms.
