* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing. * WHERE...Bear Creek in Jefferson County, CO... * WHEN...Until 545 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable, and bridges may be compromised. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 251 AM MDT, Emergency management reported damage to multiple bridges in the Evergreen and Kittredge area and rapidly rising water along Bear Creek following heavy rain from to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain has fallen. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Evergreen, Morrison, Idledale, Kittredge and Bear Creek Lake Park.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
