Central Rio Blanco County in northwestern Colorado... * Until 1000 PM MDT. * At 809 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Lee and PL Gulch burn scars. Between 0.1 and 0.6 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 4 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall will result in debris flow through the Lee and PL Gulch burn scars. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Lee and PL Gulch Burn Scar. SOURCE...Radar.
