...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR EAST CENTRAL CUSTER AND WEST CENTRAL PUEBLO COUNTIES... At 534 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain have ended over most of the Aspen Acres Burn Scar, though run-off, flooding and debris flows will continue for at least the next 1 to 2 hours. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Any additional rainfall amounts look to be less than 0.5 inches in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring, with water rescues and large debris flows reported. FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Aspen Acres Burn Scar, including San Isabel and North Creek near Beulah. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! Life threatening flash flooding of low water crossings, small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Beulah and San Isabel. This includes the following high risk locations... Beulah Water Intake, Northcreek Road county line to Red Mountain Camp and Northcreek Road from Red Mountain Camp to Beulah.
