Description: 
At 407 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Northern Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the North Creek, Red Creek, Peck Creek and Rock Creek Drainages. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Northern Aspen Acres Burn Scar. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Northern Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mainly rural areas of East Central Custer and West Central Pueblo Counties. This includes the following high risk locations... Northcreek Road county line to Red Mountain Camp and Northcreek Road from Red Mountain Camp to Beulah.
