Description: 
At 201 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding over the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar, with high water and debris flows over Highway 165 north of San Isabel. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the North Saint Charles, South Creek, Squirrel Creek, Middle Creek and North Creek Drainages. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding in and around the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Beulah, Highway 78, stream crossings on Highway 165. This includes the following high risk locations... Beulah Water Intake and Northcreek Road from Red Mountain Camp to Beulah.
