Description:
At 756 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18
miles southwest of Olathe, or 22 miles west of Montrose, moving east
at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
outdoor objects is possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Montrose
County.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
