Description:
At 626 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cottonwood Valley, or 23 miles north of Limon, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Last Chance, Lindon, Cottonwood Valley and Thurman.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
