Description:
At 214 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles north of Four Corners, or 50 miles northwest of Fort Collins,
moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Kinikinik, Four Corners, Glendevey, Red Feather Lakes, Rustic and
Cherokee Park.
Instruction:
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
Area Description:
Jackson County Below 9000 Feet; South and East Jackson/Larimer/North and Northeast Grand/Northwest Boulder Counties Above 9000 Feet; Larimer and Boulder Counties Between 6000 and 9000 Feet
