Description:
At 901 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles northeast of Eckley, or 12 miles northwest of Wray, moving east
at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Yuma
County, including the following locations... Laird, Alvin, and
Wauneta.
This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 235 and 263.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
