Description:
At 219 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported a strong
thunderstorm near Peyton, or 26 miles northeast of Colorado Springs.
This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Calhan and Peyton.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
