Description:
At 237 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Victor, or 19 miles southwest of Colorado Springs, moving south at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, penny size hail and torrential
rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible. Heavy rainfall could cause flash flooding,
washouts, and excessive flows in area creeks, and streams.
A Flash Flood Warning is effect for much of this area
through 530 PM.
Locations impacted include...
Victor.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
