Description:
At 238 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Castle Pines, or 18 miles south of Denver, moving northeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Southern Aurora, eastern Centennial, eastern Highlands Ranch,
Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree, The Pinery, Castle Pines, Franktown
and Foxfield.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Heavy rain is occurring with this storm and may lead to flooding. Do
not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
