Description: 
At 635 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles southwest of Florence, or 34 miles west of Pueblo, moving northeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Fremont and northeastern Custer Counties.
