Description: 
At 404 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Blue Valley, or 31 miles west of Denver, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Wind and hail could lead to low visibility and hazardous driving conditions along I-70 and other travel routes in eastern Clear Creek, northwest Jefferson, and southeast Gilpin Counties. Locations impacted include... Evergreen, Idaho Springs, Blue Valley, Floyd Hill, Brookvale, Bergen Park, Kittredge, Echo Lake and Wah Keeney Park.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
