Description: 
At 347 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall along a line extending from 6 miles east of Waugh Mountain to 13 miles northwest of Royal Gorge to 6 miles north of Texas Creek. Movement was northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, brief pea size hail, and locally heavy rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Heavy rainfall could cause ponding of water on roadways, and rapid rises in normally dry creeks and streams. Locations impacted include... Texas Creek, Coaldale, Cotopaxi, and Waugh Mountain.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
