At 1001 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5 miles north of Cheyenne Wells, moving south at 25 mph. HAZARD...Penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Cheyenne Wells around 1005 PM MDT. This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 144 and 159.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for east central Colorado.
