Description:
At 611 PM MDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Proctor, or 20
miles northeast of Sterling, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado and baseball size hail.
SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Crook, Proctor and Twin Buttes.
Instruction:
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.
