California Unknown Civil Emergency Message | Effective 09/21/2026 10:25

This is a test. The County of Los Angeles, the National Weather Service, and local TV and radio stations are testing the emergency alert system for National Preparedness Month. You may hear loud alert sounds or see warning messages on weather radios, televisions, or radio. There is no emergency at this time as this is only a test. If this were a real emergency, the message would include more information and instructions on what to do. To learn more about preparedness, visit ready.lacounty.gov. This concludes the test.
