...Critical fire weather conditions continue through the
weekend...
.Hot, dry and windy conditions will peak this afternoon and
Saturday east of the Cascades and potions of northern California.
Humidities nudge higher on Sunday, although winds and low
rhs may still meet red flag criteria.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
* AFFECTED AREA...Mostly the Shasta and Scott valleys of Fire
Weather Zones 280 and 281, but also portions of the Klamath
National Forest.
* WINDS...Southwest to west 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40
mph.
* MINIMUM HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent.
* DURATION...3 to 7 hours Friday afternoon.
