* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures reaching 90 to
100 at the coast and 106 in the valleys.
* WHERE...Coast and valleys of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat events.
Instruction:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
