...Critical fire weather conditions continue through the
weekend...
.Hot, dry and windy conditions will peak this afternoon east of
the Cascades. Humidities trend slightly higher today and will
continue that slight trend higher into Sunday.
* AFFECTED AREA...In northern California, fire weather zone 284,
covering eastern Siskiyou County and areas east of Mount
Shasta. In Oregon, fire weather zone 625, covering the south
central Oregon desert and BLM land in eastern Lake and western
Harney Counties.
* WINDS...Southwest to west 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* MINIMUM HUMIDITY...8 to 15 percent.
* DURATION...3 to 6 hours this afternoon and evening.
