Description:
At 355 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms extending from 11 miles northwest of Orleans to 24
miles north of Orleans, moving northwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Eastern Del Norte and North Central Humboldt
Counties.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
