Description:
* WHAT...Surf of 3 to 6 feet with sets to 7 feet expected.
Highest surf will be on south facing beaches.
* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County
Coastal Areas.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Increased rip current risk and dangerous swimming
conditions. Minor coastal flooding possible during evening
high tides tides are forecast to be 6.0 to 6.5 feet Sunday
into early next week.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...South swell of 2 to 3 feet from 190 degrees
with a period of 12 seconds through tonight. South swell of 2
feet from 200 degrees with a period of 17 to 19 seconds on
Sunday. Monday and Tuesday, south swell of 3 feet from 200
degrees with a period of 17 seconds.
Instruction:
Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
