Description:
* WHAT...Heat index values up to 109 expected Wednesday.
* WHERE...In Arkansas, Southern Crawford, Central and Southern
Franklin, and North and Central Sebastian Counties. In Oklahoma,
Mayes, Nowata, Rogers, Southeast Osage, Tulsa, Wagoner, and
Washington OK Counties.
* WHEN...From noon to 8 PM CDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses are possible especially impacting
those not acclimated to the conditions or those performing
strenuous activities.
Instruction:
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
