Description:
At 321 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northeast of
Tubac, moving northwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Tubac, Rio Rico, Amado, Madera Canyon and Arivaca Junction.
This includes Interstate 19 between mile markers 21 and 30.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
