Navajo County in north central Arizona...
* Until 1245 PM MST.
* At 1221 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Linden, or 6
miles northwest of Show Low, moving southwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.
* Locations impacted include...
Show Low, Linden, Fool Hollow Lake, Ned Lake, Telephone Lake and
Show Low City Park.
This includes the following highways...
State Route 260 between mile markers 331 and 336. Highway 60 between
mile markers 336 and 339.
This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area Campground.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
