Description:
At 235 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sonoita, moving
west at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Sonoita and Elgin.
This includes the following highways...
Route 82 between mile markers 23 and 40...and near mile marker 44.
Route 83 between mile markers 18 and 36.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
