At 1259 AM MST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms near Munds Park, or 14 miles northeast of Sedona, moving northeast at 20 mph. These storms are impacting portions of Interstate 17 and State Route 89A. HAZARD...Heavy rainfall, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
