At 558 PM MST, a wall of dust was located along a line from 12 miles
northeast of Portal to 6 miles south of Bowie, moving southwest at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Less than one mile visibility with strong winds in excess of
30 mph.
SOURCE...Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists.
IMPACT...Hazardous travel.
Locations impacted include...
Portal, Chiricahua National Monument and Paradise.
Instruction:
Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. PULL ASIDE
STAY ALIVE!
