The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a
* Dust Advisory for...
Northeastern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 630 PM MST.
* At 534 PM MST, a wall of dust was located along a line from 17
miles northeast of Portal to 6 miles northeast of Bowie, moving
southwest at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Less than one mile visibility with strong winds in excess
of 30 mph.
SOURCE...Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists.
IMPACT...Hazardous travel.
* Locations impacted include...
Portal, Bowie, Chiricahua National Monument, San Simon and
Paradise.
This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 363 and 391.
Instruction:
Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. PULL ASIDE
