Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 145 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas is
possible. River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 739 AM MST, Signfciant rainfall fell across southern Arizona
and northern Sonora Mexico overnight. The San Pedro at Palominas
is forecast to rise into Action Stage and approach Minor Flood
Stage.
- The current stage is nearing 14 feet and is forecast to rise into
Action Stage at 15 feet. It is possible the stage cold approach
Minor Flood Stage and will be monitored throughout the day. At 15
feet, the parking lot on the east side of Hereford Road bridge
begins to flood.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Palominas and areas along the San Pedro.
- This includes the following highways...
Route 90 near mile marker 329. Route 92 near mile marker 340.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
