Description:
* WHAT...Southeast winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Unalaska and Nikolski.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 PM AKDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong low pressure system in the southern
Bering will bring strong westerly winds beginning this evening and
continuing through Friday evening. The strongest wind gusts up to
55 mph are likely through westerly favored gaps near Unalaska.
Winds to steadily diminish through late Friday night.
Instruction:
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
