At 1011 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lawley, or 15 miles southwest of Jemison, moving north at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Jemison, Thorsby, Maplesville, Lawley, Ashby, Brierfield Ironworks Park, Parnell, Talladega National Forest, Chilton County Motor Sports Park, Randolph, Minooka Park, Stanton, and Isabella.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CDT for south central and central Alabama. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
