...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama...
Styx River Near Elsanor affecting Baldwin County.
For the Styx River...including Elsanor...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Styx River near Elsanor.
* WHEN...From late tonight to late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Water reaches top of
bulkheads on Donovan Circle in the Seminole Landing community.
Upstream, water begins to flood Waterworld and areas near Goat
Cooper Roads.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 14.2 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
evening.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
