...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Alabama...
Bayou Sara At Saraland affecting Mobile County.
For the Bayou Sara...including Saraland...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Bayou Sara at Saraland.
* WHEN...Until late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...At 6.0 feet, Flooding of residences in the area will
occur.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 5.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late tonight to
3.8 feet tomorrow morning. It will then rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to 4.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will
fall below flood stage again late tomorrow evening to 3.1 feet
Saturday morning then rise again.
- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
