Description:
At 222 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lakeview, or near Lanett, moving southwest at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Valley, Lanett, Lakeview, Five Points, Cusseta, Fredonia, Veasey
Creek Park, Denson, Huguley, Fairfax, River View, Amity Park,
Southern Harbor, Lanett Municipal Airport, I 85 Welcome Center At
Lanett, Stroud Creek, and Rocky Point.
This includes Interstate 85 between mile markers 73 and 79.
