Description:
At 215 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles west of Tanner, or 10 miles west of Athens, moving southeast at
15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Decatur, Madison, Athens, Priceville, Trinity, Tanner, Hillsboro,
Mooresville, Belle Mina, and Coxey.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
