Description:
At 133 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fyffe, or 8 miles south of Rainsville, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Payne, Rainsville, Crossville, Fyffe, Pine Ridge, Collbran,
Guest, Dog Town, Little River Canyon NP, and Skirum.
Instruction:
