Description:
At 520 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles southwest of Rutledge, or 14 miles southeast of Greenville,
moving southwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Luverne, Georgiana, Brantley, McKenzie, River Falls, Red Level,
Rutledge, Dozier, Heath, Gantt, and Glenwood.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
