Description:
At 253 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Verbena, or 8 miles southeast of Clanton, moving south at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Clanton, Verbena, Mitchell Lake, Cooper, and Mitchell Dam.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 199 and 205.
