Description:
At 309 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mertz, or 7 miles west of Brent, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Brent, Centreville, Eoline, Low Gap, West Centreville, Mertz,
Pearson, Ellards, and Bibb County Airport.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
