Description:
At 220 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Stapleton to Loxley to 3 miles east of
Fairhope. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Robertsdale, Loxley, Stapleton, Summerdale, Silverhill, and Elberta.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
southwestern Alabama...and northwestern Florida.
