Description:
At 1223 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Geneva, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
De Funiak Springs, Geneva, Hartford, Samson, Union, Liberty, Paxton,
Coffee Springs, Black, Oakwood Hills, Cluster Springs, Kellys
Crossroads, Logan Field Municipal A/P, Central City, Glendale,
Izagora, New Hope, New Harmony, Piney Grove, and Caney Creek.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
