Description:
At 1155 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Samson, or 12 miles northwest of Geneva, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Daleville, De Funiak Springs, Geneva, Enterprise, Fort Rucker,
Hartford, Level Plains, Samson, Eglin Air Force Base, Union, Liberty,
Paxton, Clayhatchee, Kinston, Coffee Springs, Black, Oakwood Hills,
Cluster Springs, Kellys Crossroads, and Gerald.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
